Thanks to all of you who participated in the January NOTA Blog Contest. After reviewing all etnries submitted by contestants, NOTA is pleased to announce the winner of the January Blog Contest – Svetlana Ball! Svetlana is the recipient of the Barnes & Noble eGift Card.

The assignment for the January 2012 Blog Contest was to recall any translation project or interpreting assignment and to describe how that project/assignment has changed your perception of the outside world. Svetlana did a fantastic job in responding to the contest question. She submitted an interesting story about the menu translation project that inspired her to try cooking some new exciting food recipes that she has never cooked or eaten before. Congratulations, Svetlana!

Our next Blog Contest is coming up in April. Stay tuned for more details!

Tonight begins a gig that will run for the next six days. Yet a niggling sensation of dereliction of duty arises. Does anyone else suffer from this? Please let NOTA know.
