Dear NOTA Members,
This is a final reminder that NOTA will be hosting a Blogging Workshop presented by Jill Sommer on Saturday, July 28th, 2012 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the MCLS lab located on the 4th floor of the Satterfield Hall building at Kent State University. The workshop will highlight the importance of blogs in today’s language services industry, outline different scenarios of when the blogs should and should not be used and provide tips on how to run your blogs to maximize the inflow of potential clients.
For those of you who have already submitted payments for the workshop and are registered for the event, here is some helpful information for you about parking at Kent State University that you may find at http://www.kent.edu/parking/visitors/index.cfm. The easiest two options would be either to park at the Student Center parking lot (I checked with KSU Parking Services, it’s free on the weekend) or to get an All-Day Pass for just $2 (in the event if the Student Center parking lot is full), which would allow you to park a the Satterfield Hall parking lot.
For those of you who have not had a chance yet to submit their payments but would still be interested in attending the workshop, please write a check for $10 (each guest) and hand it in to me at the door on the day of the event. Please do not mail your check.
If you have any questions or need additional information about the event, please contact Vitaliy at (216) 773-8792 or vvp13ster@gmail.com. Thank you once again for your attention and we look forward to seeing many of you this Saturday, July 28th at Kent State University!
