This past Saturday, September 15th, NOTA hosted Translation Tools Conference, a 6-hour program that consisted of four educational sessions, two of which were live presentations and the other two, webinars. The sessions examined the following tools: MemoQ which was presented by Gabor Ugray of Kilgray, Fluency presented by Daniel Law of Western Standard Translation, Transit NXT presented by Alan Horvath of STAR Group America and SDL Trados presented by Sue Ellen Wright.
The conference turned out to be a huge success for everyone. The attendees and guests took advantage of the wonderful opportunity not only to learn about the operational functionalities of each software tool but also to mingle and network with each other. During the break the audience was treated to a hot tea, coffee and assortment of pastries from Baked in the Village.
Along with all this excitement NOTA does realize and understand that not everyone was able to make it to this grand event due to various other important committments. For those of you who was initially planning on attending the conference but was not able to, as it turned out later, here is a couple of useful resources that you might want to check out:
1) Recording of Daniel’s webinar on Fluency (not from this Saturday, but from another day) – please click on the following link:

Thank you once again for being a part of NOTA and we look forward to seeing you all at our next event!
