NOTA is pleased to invite you to attend a CCIO Telephone Interpreting Roundtable Discussion that will be held this Saturday, April 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cup O’Joe, 627 S. Third St., (in German Village), Columbus, OH 43215.

The event will be hosted by Ross Sutherland, a Supreme Court of Ohio Certified Interpreter as well as the Senior Language Specialist and Trainer for a national language agency specializing in remote interpretation.

The workshop will highlight the general description of telephonic interpretation, examine cases and instances in which it is employed as well as situations in which it is not appropriate, provide an overview of the equipment that is recommended for telephonic interpretation and explain how telephonic interpretation is different from face-to-face interpretation.
