Two respected translators passed away recently. Claudia Mendizabal and John Bambeck attended NOTA events and always brought a smile. We will miss them.
NOTA WEBSITE UPGRADE
A shout out to Jill Sommer who coordinated our website update. Members can view the blog and manage membership easily with the improvements. The new site launches 8/10/15.
2015 ANNUAL DINNER AND WORKSHOPS
Look for a “Save the Date” notice from Vitaliy Plinto, our Program Chair, for the annual dinner this fall. Tentative workshops include the business side of T&I: marketing, business best practices and invoicing. Following the presentations we invite you participate in a Q & A session on tools to improve your enterprise.
NOTA NEEDS YOU
NOTA needs a Membership Chair starting 9/15. Thanks to Jill for her dedicated service over the years in that position. She will help the new chair and promises that, with the website upgrade, the position requires little time. Here is an opportunity to increase your web presence, network with colleagues and give back to the profession. Please write Jill at email@example.com for more information.
